I’m currently based in NJ and responsible for Operations at Keepe.
Here’s a few notes of interest
- Operating. I’m interested in “how the sausage is made” and sometimes write down my thoughts here.
- Good Lighting. This is underrated, in general.
- Tinkering. Much of what I want to read sits online (Substacks, RSS feeds, Research Papers, etc), however, print is a much more productive form factor for me when the intention is to dive into the words on the page (and nothing else). Thus, I’ve been building PrintStack in the wee hours and weekends. If you want a test press, let me know and I’ll send you one!
- Tinkering some more. I was surprised when I found out that I couldn’t sort all active listings in the US by projected monthly cash flow (Rental Income - Monthly Payments) so I began building with Replit.
- Reading. I read a fair amount, but wish I could read more. I’ve semi-recently become a member of Goodreads (is there nothing better out there?) and sometimes add a few notes on what I read here.
- StartupChile. A friend and I once tried our hands at a hardware startup that we took through StartupChile in 2015. Although the experience was formative (and semi-successful), I vowed never to touch hardware again (it was too dang hard!). Time will tell if that vow lasts :)
- Geekwire. As an excuse to travel S America after graduating Seattle U, a friend and I convinced Geekwire to allow us to publish some articles on the innovation scene down there.
- Music. Back in 2014, a friend and I had the opportunity to pull together a community of music lovers around Slack with #music, recognized on Buzzfeed and TNW. Nowadays, I cherish human-powered radio (s/o to NTS)
